Best Gymnastics Classes for Kids in Singapore (2026)

4 November 2026 · 14 min read

TL;DR – The Quick Version

We checked all 17 gymnastics schools Jungle lists on their own websites, and re-read every headline fee, trial and holiday camp on 4 November 2026. Nine take children under 3 in a class with a parent, most run drop-off classes from 3, and squad invitations mostly come between 4 and 7. A one-hour class costs $37 to $80 at the six gyms that publish a fee per lesson, and trials cost $40 to $78. Five gyms publish December 2026 camps. Browse gymnastics classes on Jungle.

Gymnastics for kids in Singapore means two different things. Twelve of the 17 schools in this guide are gymnastics clubs with a competitive squad, where a 6-year-old can be invited to train four hours a week. Four are children's gyms, My Gym, The Little Gym, Power Kids and BearyFun, which call themselves non-competitive and mix gymnastics with games, songs and sports. Both kinds take toddlers, most from about 18 months.

This guide covers every gymnastics school on Jungle, 17 schools at 31 branches, for children from 18 months to 12. We read each school's own website, timetable and booking system on 23 October 2026, and re-read every headline fee, trial and December camp on 4 November 2026. Each card gives the classes by age, what happens in them, the trial and any published fee. Eleven publish no clear class fee.

Start with what a class looks like at each age, then the three quick picks. After that every school is grouped by area, with the chains at the end, followed by the December holiday camps and a summary table. For ages 2 to 4 in more detail, see our guide to gymnastics for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

From 18 months to 3, you are in the class too. Nine schools run a class for this age with a parent alongside: The Yard, Prime, BearyFun and Power Kids from 18 months, Bubbles from walking, The Little Gym and My Gym from 19 months, and Tumble Joy and NorthStar from 2. Classes last 45 minutes at The Little Gym and an hour elsewhere. GIM Sports also takes 2-year-olds, with parents watching from outside the gates.

From 3 to 5, most children go in alone. Bubbles, Prime, GymKraft, Alpha, NorthStar, Karpenko, BearyFun, My Gym, Power Kids and The Little Gym all run a drop-off class from 3, usually an hour, with one coach to six at Prime, GymKraft and Alpha. At The Yard it is bars, beam, vault and floor; at Karpenko it adds ball, rope and dance. BazGym's Mini Bear and Tumble Joy's Parent & Baby keep a parent in the class to 4.

From 5 to 7, levels take over from ages, and the first invitations come. Recreational classes such as The Yard's FUNdamentals, Prime's GymNovice and Alpha's GymStars run an hour, while Karpenko's Artistic and Rhythmic classes run 90 minutes from 5. Coaches start picking squad children here: GymKraft's Super Squad from 5, Prime's boys' Beginner Competitive from 5, Karpenko's rhythmic Kinder level at about 6 and Bubbles' Developmental Squad at about 6.5.

From 8 to 12, classes get longer, and beginners are still welcome. Tumble Joy's Tumblefit (from 7), NorthStar's Advanced Recreational (from 9) and GIM Sports' SeniorGIM (from 12) run two hours. BearyFun's Fitness Teen, for 7 to 12, runs 90 minutes. Prime's GymNovice Senior, for 8 and up, is written for older gymnasts new to the sport, and The Little Gym's Flips takes 6 to 12. My Gym stops at 8.

Artistic, rhythmic, trampoline or a children's gym class?

Most schools here teach artistic gymnastics, but not all. Five kinds of class sit under the same word:

  • Artistic gymnastics, on bars, beam, vault and floor, is what most of these schools teach, from The Yard and Bubbles to Prime, GymKraft, GIM Sports, Alpha, NorthStar and Tumble Joy.
  • Rhythmic gymnastics, with rope, hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon set to music, is taught at Bianka Panova Academy, for girls from 4, and at Karpenko from 5.
  • Trampoline gymnastics is coached at Singapore Trampoline Academy from 5. For bouncing rather than lessons, see our guide to trampoline parks in Singapore.
  • Ninja and freestyle classes mix gymnastics with parkour and obstacle courses: The Yard's Ninja Zone from 3 and its Freestyle classes at Dover.
  • Children's gym classes at My Gym, The Little Gym, Power Kids and BearyFun put gymnastics stations alongside games, songs and general sports, with no squads. They suit a child who wants to move more than one who wants to learn a cartwheel properly.

Recreational or competitive gymnastics: which is right for my child?

Start with a recreational class. Every school here with a squad picks its members by invitation, assessment or trial, and most pick from their own recreational classes, so the question usually comes from the coach after a year or two. NorthStar and The Yard also assess on request.

A recreational class is an hour a week, sometimes 90 minutes or two hours for older children, in levels a child moves through at their own pace. The four children's gyms stop there by design: My Gym, The Little Gym, Power Kids and BearyFun run no squads.

Competitive training starts small and grows quickly. GymKraft's Super Squad, from 5, is four to six hours a week, and every squad gymnast enters local competitions. Bubbles' Developmental Squad trains four hours, NorthStar asks at least 4, 6 and 9 hours across its three squads, and The Yard's girls' squads train 6 to 24. Bianka Panova's rhythmic National Pathway recommends 6 to 12 hours a week.

Choose the competitive route when your child asks for more than one class a week and the family can commit to fixed sessions on two or more days, plus competitions. The cost climbs with the hours; our guide to what gymnastics classes cost compares squad fees.

Is your child ready for gymnastics?

  • They can follow a coach for an hour. Most classes here run 60 minutes, Karpenko's run 90 from 5, and two-hour classes start at 7 at Tumble Joy. If not yet, start with a parent-and-child class, or The Little Gym's 45-minute ones.
  • They are happy to be left. From 3 most classes are drop-off. Parents watch from outside the gates at GIM Sports and through glass at Tumble Joy, and stay out of the gym at Karpenko and Bianka Panova.
  • They want to learn the skills, not only to play. If games and obstacle courses suit them better for now, start at a children's gym: My Gym, The Little Gym, Power Kids or BearyFun.

A trial class will tell you more than any checklist. Published trials cost $40 at GIM Sports to $78 at The Little Gym, and few count towards fees. Our guide to free trial classes for kids lists schools that give a first class free.

How we picked these

Every school here is listed on Jungle. We checked all 17 gymnastics schools Jungle lists, at 31 branches, on their own websites, timetables and booking systems, and kept every one that runs gymnastics classes for children and is trading; one further listing was left out because its website no longer belongs to the school. Classes that mix gymnastics with games, sports, dance or parkour are labelled. Parkour gyms and trampoline parks are not included.

The quick picks are our judgement on stated criteria: the gym with a class at every age from 18 months to 12, a published price per session and online trials; the lowest published price a class; and the most published route, with fees, from a first class to a squad. Classes were read on 23 October 2026, and every fee, trial and camp printed here was re-read on 4 November 2026.
