Between them, the coding schools on Jungle teach children from 4 to 18. What changes with age is the tool, not the subject. A 5-year-old at NK Robotics codes a robot with code cards and a pen reader, with no screen at all. A 9-year-old at Nullspace spends 2 hours coding a LEGO SPIKE Prime robot. A 13-year-old at Coding Lab writes Python, in a course of five 2-hour lessons that costs $539.55 with GST.
This guide covers the nine schools on Jungle that run weekly coding or robotics classes for children, checked on their own websites, fee sheets and booking pages on 30 October 2026. Every card gives the classes by age, the language or robot kit, how long a lesson runs, the class size where the school states it, the fee and the trial. Six of the nine publish their fees. One more school teaches only online.
Start with what to learn at which age, then the three quick picks. After that every school is grouped by area, with the chains at the end, followed by a fees table. If your child is 5 to 7, our guide to coding and robotics for 5 to 7 year olds goes further into that age.

From 4 to 6, the robot does the work a screen does later. NK Robotics' Coding Pioneers codes with cards and a pen reader. School Of Robotics starts children at 4 on an hour of LEGO SPIKE Essential, WeDo 2.0 or ScratchJr. Redwood Campus's youngest class is an hour of LEGO building and first coding blocks. Nullspace and The Lab take children from 5, with Bee-Bot floor robots, LEGO Technic and maths-linked games.
From 7 to 9, Scratch arrives and lessons get longer. Coding Lab, Computhink and School Of Robotics all start Scratch at 7, in lessons of 90 minutes to 2 hours. The Lab Junior spends 100 minutes a week on LEGO SPIKE robots. Nullspace's STEM Explorer mixes LEGO WeDo, Scratch and a 3D pen, and teaches typing. Robotics Connection and Children's Worklab open weekly robotics at 8.
From 10 to 12, most schools switch to Python. The Lab Coder, Nullspace, Coding Lab, Robotics Connection and School Of Robotics all start Python at 10. NK Robotics' PythonBots codes LEGO SPIKE Prime robots in Python from 10 and prepares teams for the FIRST LEGO League and World Robot Olympiad. Coding Lab adds phone apps in MIT App Inventor, and Nullspace and School Of Robotics add Arduino electronics.
From 13, it is real languages, competitions and exams. Computhink's teen tracks, from 12, are Python, web pages in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and Roblox games in Lua. Coding Lab's secondary courses lead to electives in AI, data and game development, Olympiad training and O-level Computing tuition. The Lab X, for 14 and up, teaches Unity and competitive programming after an entry exam.
Your child can start at 4, at three of the nine schools here, though before 7 the coding is done with robots, cards and tablets rather than typing. NK Robotics' Coding Pioneers, School Of Robotics' Stage 1 courses and Redwood Campus's My Engineering Intern all take 4-year-olds, and School Of Robotics' Coding Express, a LEGO train coded with action bricks, takes children from 3.
Nullspace and The Lab start at 5. Coding Lab and Computhink take their first pupils at 7; Coding Lab's class for 5 and 6 runs only in partner preschools. Children's Worklab and Robotics Connection start weekly robotics at 8, and take younger children into LEGO engineering classes with no coding.
If you are unsure, a trial class will tell you more than any checklist. The Lab and NK Robotics give the first class free, Computhink runs a free level assessment instead, and Coding Lab refunds its paid workshop if you book a course within three months.
The Lab is the only school here with both a free first class and published fees, and it has a programme for every age from 5. Kinder (5 to 6) runs 90 minutes with one teacher to four children; Junior (7 to 9) is 100 minutes of LEGO SPIKE robots, one to six; Coder (10 to 14) moves to Python. The trial doubles as a placement check. Add $80 registration; GST is not mentioned.
Price: Kinder $650 for 10 classes ($65 a class), Junior $700 for 10 ($70 a class). $80 registration.

Robotics Connection's Scratch and Python courses cost $570 for eight 2-hour classes, about $36 an hour, and its first four robotics levels are $510, about $32 an hour. That is the lowest hourly rate of the six schools that publish fees; The Lab works out at $39 to $43 an hour and Nullspace at $45 to $52. The catches: classes start at 8, the trial is $90, registration is $50 and GST is not mentioned.
Price: $510 or $570 for eight 2-hour classes ($64 to $71 a class). $50 registration.

Coding Lab publishes the clearest route from a first Scratch class at 7 to national coding competitions and exams, with fees for every Scratch, app and Python course. Python starts at 10 and Hwa Chong Infocomm Challenge training at 11. From 13 the path runs to electives, Olympiad in Informatics training (by selection test) and O-level Computing tuition. The catches: no free trial, GST on top of listed fees, and no refunds once a class is confirmed.
Price: Scratch 1 is $435 for five 2-hour lessons before GST ($474.15 with GST, about $95 a class).

Champ Code Academy teaches only live online, so it has no card here. It takes children from 7 to 15 in groups of up to six, with Minecraft, Roblox, Scratch, Python and web design on your own computer, and the first hour-long class is free. It does not publish fees, lesson lengths or a timetable. Find it on Jungle as Champ Code Academy. Computhink also streams its Toa Payoh classes live on Zoom.
Robotics competitions start earlier than most parents expect. NK Robotics prepares FIRST LEGO League and World Robot Olympiad teams in PythonBots from 10, invites older students into competition teams, and its students won the 2026 National Robotics Competition Upper Primary overall title. Nullspace's competition training is by invitation after its Robotics Certificate, The Lab guarantees a place in its competition team after the Coder Basic level, and Robotics Connection picks teams by invitation.
Coding schools test more. Nullspace ends each certificate level with a $137.50 proficiency test that decides who moves up, NK Robotics' Scratch and Python grades end in a test, and Coding Lab's Olympiad course needs a selection test. None of the weekly classes here has a compulsory national exam. The Lab, Coding Lab and School Of Robotics also run Direct School Admission (DSA) preparation.
A December camp is a way to test interest before committing to a term. School Of Robotics runs full-day camps from 24 November to 18 December 2026 at $140 to $200 a day depending on the package, with lunch. Computhink's 3-day camps run from 23 November to 19 December, from $367, up to eight a class. Coding Lab's camps run from 2 November to 31 December. For every camp across Singapore, see our guide to year-end holiday camps in 2026.
Every school here is listed on Jungle. We checked all 17 schools Jungle lists for coding or robotics on their own websites, fee sheets and booking pages, and kept the nine that run weekly coding or robotics classes for children and are still trading. Champ Code Academy is listed separately because it teaches only online.
The quick picks are our judgement: the only school with both a free trial and published fees, the lowest published hourly rate, and the clearest published route to national competitions. Fees, trials and class details were read on 30 October 2026.
