Football Academy Singapore: 11 Kids' Academies Compared, With Fees (2026)

30 October 2026 · 11 min read

TL;DR – The Quick Version

We checked all 18 football listings on Jungle against each academy's own website, and 11 run football training for children. Most take children from 4 or 5 up to 16, and four take 3-year-olds. Five publish a clear rate for group training, from $43 to $49 a session, and nine run a free trial. The bigger differences are terms, GST, kit, league fees and how a child gets into a competitive team. Browse football academies for kids on Jungle.

The session fee is the smallest difference between Singapore's football academies. Five of the 11 on Jungle publish a clear rate, and they sit within $6 of each other: $43 a session at Technique Pro to $49 at JSSL. The real differences sit around that figure. JSSL's fees exclude GST and add a $120 registration and a $90 deposit. F17 sells nothing shorter than three months. EuroAsia wants 30 days' written notice before you leave.

This guide covers the 11 academies on Jungle that run football training for children aged 3 to 16. We checked each one on its own website, timetable, fee sheet, registration form or terms on 30 October 2026. Each card lists the programmes by age, where they train, how long a session runs, what a term and the kit cost, whether the trial is free and where the competitive route leads. Barça, Euro Soccer and Real Madrid Foundation publish no fees.

Start with what changes between 3 and 16, then the quick picks and the fee table. After that the academies are grouped by the area of their Jungle-listed venue. Most train at several pitches, so each area also lists the other academies' sessions nearby. For under-6s in more detail, see our guide to football classes for 3, 4 and 5 year olds.

At 3 to 5, ten academies take your child, and four take 3-year-olds. Lion City Sailors' Little Sailors starts at two and a half with a parent helping. Borussia's Bambini Club, Euro Soccer's Tots Kickers and Turf City's indoor class all start at 3. Most classes run 60 minutes, and JSSL and Barça start at 5. Our guide to football classes for 3, 4 and 5 year olds covers this age in detail, including where parents join in.

At 6 to 8, birth-year groups and 90-minute sessions begin. Lion City Sailors, Euro Soccer and EuroAsia move children on to 90 minutes, which JSSL runs from Under-5, and Turf City starts 90-minute outdoor teams at Under-7. League teams start at about 7: Borussia's youngest team is Boys 7, JSSL's Elite Program starts at Under-7, and F17's selective Development Programme takes children from 7. Technique Pro's Technical classes, for children who already play somewhere, also start at 7.

At 9 to 12, league players train two or three times a week. Borussia requires two sessions a week for league eligibility, JSSL's Elite and Girls programmes train three days a week, and EuroAsia recommends three. Lion City Sailors groups players by age from 8 under its Learn to Train curriculum. Girls-only groups run at JSSL (from 7), Euro Soccer (Girls 8 to Girls 14), Borussia (7 to 14) and Lion City Sailors.

At 13 to 16, eight academies still run sessions, and the routes narrow. Turf City and Borussia stop at about 13, and Technique Pro's oldest group is 14. JSSL, Lion City Sailors, Euro Soccer, EuroAsia, F17, Barça and Real Madrid Foundation go to 16 or 17, and Starrkeepers takes goalkeepers from 8 upwards. The step beyond is selective: JSSL's Tampines Rovers partnership, Lion City Sailors' Sailors DC and Elite Academy, and F17's Youth programme, which prepares players for semi-professional football.

Is your child ready for an academy?

  • They can keep going for 90 minutes. Most sessions from age 6 or 7 run 90 minutes, and F17's run two hours. If not yet, start with a 60-minute class at Technique Pro, Real Madrid Foundation or Euro Soccer's Tots Kickers.
  • They want matches, not just training. League teams train two or three times a week and play on weekends. If not yet, choose a once-a-week recreational route: Lion City Sailors' General programme, JSSL's Next Gen, Borussia's Non-League training or F17's Recreational.
  • They cope with heat and rain. Most academies train outdoors on artificial turf and carry on in rain, stopping only for lightning. If that worries you, F17's CharisTurf is sheltered, Turf City's class for 3 to 6 is indoors, EuroAsia's Cage sessions for 4 to 8 are indoors, and Real Madrid Foundation's Kovan and Yishun pitches are sheltered.

A free trial will tell you more than any checklist. Nine academies run one: Barça, Borussia, Euro Soccer, EuroAsia, JSSL, Lion City Sailors, Starrkeepers, Technique Pro and Turf City. F17's trial costs $10, and Real Madrid Foundation books a trial session without stating a price.

North and North-east

No academy here has its Jungle-listed venue in the north or north-east, but two train there. Lion City Sailors runs General sessions at ITE Ang Mo Kio and at The Sports Arina in Jalan Kayu, where Little Sailors also meets on Wednesday evenings. Real Madrid Foundation trains at Yishun and Kovan, both sheltered futsal pitches, and at Yio Chu Kang. See Lion City Sailors and Real Madrid Foundation.

Recreational or competitive?

Every academy here has a recreational route, but competitive routes differ in how a child gets in. Borussia's coaches pick its league teams. F17's Development Programme is by Head Coach selection or an invitation to an assessment. Lion City Sailors assesses players for its Competitive programme and shortlists for Sailors DC and Elite Academy trials. JSSL moves players who show commitment and ability into Elite. A free trial is not a selection trial, so ask which you are booking.

League football costs extra and takes up weekends. Borussia's and Barça's league matches are on Sundays. Published league fees are $200 to $280 a season at JSSL and $250 at Turf City; Borussia, EuroAsia and F17 charge league fees separately without publishing the amount. Overseas trips, such as Lion City Sailors' optional training tours and Real Madrid Foundation's World Challenge in Madrid, are billed on top.

How we picked these

Every academy here is listed on Jungle. We checked all 18 of Jungle's football listings against each academy's own website, timetable, fee sheet, registration form or terms, and kept the 11 that run football training for children and are trading. Two futsal venues that only rent courts, a holiday camp, and schools teaching basketball, martial arts or a mix of sports were left out.

The quick picks are our judgement: a beginner class without a term commitment, the lowest published price for a 90-minute session, and the clearest published route into competitive football. Fees, trials and timetables were read on 30 October 2026.
