Five of the 14 football names Jungle lists for this age do not coach young children: two are futsal courts for hire, and three teach basketball, martial arts or a mix of sports. The other nine differ more than their age ranges suggest. At Borussia Academy, 3-year-olds chase the ball with a parent. At Turf City FC, they train indoors, one coach to four children. At F17, a 4-year-old joins a two-hour session for ages 4 to 12.
This guide covers the nine academies on Jungle that run a football class for preschool children aged 3, 4 or 5. We checked each one on its own website, timetable, fee sheet or terms on 7 October 2026. Every card says what a child of this age does, for how long, whether a parent joins in or watches, where sessions run, and what it costs where the academy publishes it.
Start with what changes between 3, 4 and 5, then the three quick picks. After that every academy is grouped by the area of its main venue for this age. Most train at several venues, so each area also lists the other academies' sessions nearby.

At 3, four academies take your child, and two want you on the pitch. Borussia says parents are a key part of its Bambini Club for 3 and 4-year-olds. Lion City Sailors' toddler class, Little Sailors, is parent-assisted from two and a half. Euro Soccer's Tots Kickers and Turf City's indoor class also start at 3, and neither says whether parents stay. All four run 60 minutes, and football training for 3 and 4-year-olds here is built on games.
At 4, seven academies take your child, and the parent's role shrinks. Little Sailors Stage 2, for 3.5 to 5, has less parent involvement, and Lion City Sailors' Under-4 to Under-6 groups ask parents to watch from outside the training area. Borussia still has parents running with 4-year-olds. EuroAsia FC, F17 and Technique Pro all start at 4, and none says whether parents stay. Sessions run 60 to 75 minutes, except F17's two hours.
At 5, every academy here will take your child. Barça Academy and JSSL both start at 5, and JSSL's Under-5 and Under-6 groups train for 90 minutes with internal league games. Small-sided matches arrive at this age: EuroAsia plays 2v2 and 3v3 games, and the top level of Lion City Sailors' Learn to Play curriculum ends with 3v3 match rules. A child born in 2020 moves into Turf City's 90-minute outdoor Under-7 group.
If one of the three is not there yet, a trial session will tell you more than any checklist. Eight of the nine academies run a free trial: Barça, Borussia, Euro Soccer, EuroAsia, JSSL, Lion City Sailors, Technique Pro and Turf City. F17's trial costs $10.

Bambini Club puts parents on the pitch: the academy says 3 and 4-year-olds feel more secure chasing the ball with a parent, and builds the hour around 40 small-team games it designed. It is the cheaper of the two parent-and-child options here, at $40 a session against about $49 on Lion City Sailors' 12-session Little Sailors pack. The catch is one slot a week, Saturday at 8am, outdoors at SkyPark Arena in Ulu Pandan.
Price: $360 for a 9-week term ($40 a session), plus a one-off $100 registration that includes a jersey and shorts. Free trial.

JSSL's Next Gen groups for Under-5s and Under-6s train for 90 minutes, the longest published here after F17, with internal league games and player reports. From Under-7, players who show commitment and ability can move into its Elite Program, three days a week with National Youth League matches. A partnership with Tampines Rovers FC gives selected players a further step. The catch: JSSL says it starts at 5 and does not publish the birth years for Under-5.
Price: $588 for a 12-session term ($49 a session), or $510 early bird. $120 registration including kit, a $90 refundable deposit, and GST where applicable. Free trial.

Barça Academy teaches FC Barcelona's training methodology to ages 5 to 16, with individual progress reports for every player, and fields more than 50 competitive teams. It is the one academy here that publishes almost nothing about its youngest class: no class name, length, timetable or fees. Its help page, last updated in 2025, says players must be born in 2020 or earlier, so confirm that a 5-year-old born in 2021 can join.

The Recreational Programme is one group for ages 4 to 12, and the site does not say whether younger children train separately. Coaches show an activity, then set challenges for players to solve instead of repeating drills. Sessions run two hours, 5pm to 7pm, the longest here for a 4-year-old. You commit to at least three months, payments are non-refundable, and a $100 starter package of kit and insurance is compulsory.

Also in the East: Lion City Sailors and JSSL both run sessions for this age at SAFRA Tampines on Saturdays, F17 trains on the Dunman Secondary School field in Tampines, and Barça Academy trains at St Patrick's School on East Coast Road. Little Sailors meets at Kallang Cage on Sunday mornings. See Lion City Sailors, JSSL, F17 and Barça Academy.
No academy here is based in the North-east, but Lion City Sailors runs Under-4 to Under-6 sessions at ITE Ang Mo Kio on Sundays and at The Sports Arina in Jalan Kayu on Wednesdays and Saturdays, where Little Sailors also meets on Wednesday evenings. See Lion City Sailors.
Lion City Sailors runs Under-4 to Under-6 sessions at GESS on Dairy Farm Lane on Saturdays, and Barça Academy trains at The Perse School on Chestnut Drive. See Lion City Sailors and Barça Academy.
Between 6 and 7, most academies here group children by birth year and start team football. Turf City moves children born in 2020 to a 90-minute outdoor Under-7 group. JSSL's Elite Program starts at Under-7, three days a week. Borussia's league teams start at 7 by coach selection and train twice a week, and F17's Development Programme starts at 7 by selection or assessment. EuroAsia's Stage 2 starts at 7, with sessions on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
If you want football as a hobby without league matches, ask before you enrol. Borussia's Bambini Club is non-competitive, and Lion City Sailors keeps a recreational General route to Under-12 alongside its Competitive one. League fees are usually extra: $250 a season at Turf City, a separate end-of-season fee at Borussia, and separate league and tournament fees at EuroAsia.
Every academy here is listed on Jungle. We checked each academy Jungle lists for football at these ages on its own website, timetable, fee sheet or terms, and kept the nine that run a football class for children aged 3, 4 or 5 and are still trading. Where a class mixes ages or runs at several venues, the card says so.
The quick picks are our judgement: the parent-and-child class at the lowest published price, the lowest published price per session, and the clearest route into team football. Fees, trials and timetables were read on 7 October 2026.
