Gymnastics Classes for 2, 3 and 4 Year Olds in Singapore: 16 Schools (2026)

8 October 2026 · 11 min read

TL;DR – The Quick Version

We checked every school Jungle lists for gymnastics at ages 2 to 4 against its own website, and 16 run a class for children that young. At 2, eight of them run a parent-and-child class of 45 to 60 minutes. From 3 most classes are drop-off and an hour long, often with one coach to six children. At 4 the first squad invitations and rhythmic classes begin. Seven schools publish a clear fee, from $34 to $80 a class, and trials run from free to $78. Browse gymnastics classes for toddlers on Jungle.

Nine of the 16 gymnastics schools in this guide take 2-year-olds, and eight of those put a parent in the class with them. From 3, what a child gets varies far more. At The Yard it is an hour on bars, beam, vault and floor. At My Gym, gymnastics shares the hour with games, songs and a puppet show. At Karpenko it leans towards rhythmic gymnastics, and parents may not enter the gym.

This guide covers the 16 schools on Jungle that run a gymnastics class, including toddler gym and tumbling classes, for children aged 2, 3 or 4. We checked each one on its own website, timetable or booking system on 7 October 2026. Every card below says what a child of this age does, for how long, whether a parent stays, and what it costs where the school publishes it. Nine schools publish no clear fee, and the cards say so.

Start with the summary of what changes between 2, 3 and 4, then the three quick picks. After that every school is grouped by area, with the chains that have several branches at the end.

At 2, you are in the class too. Eight schools run a parent-and-child class at this age, from 45 minutes at The Little Gym to an hour elsewhere. What happens in it differs. Power Kids has toddlers hang from a bar and climb a rock wall, Bubbles sends them round bars, beam, vault and rings, and NorthStar keeps to soft play, games and music. GIM Sports runs a class for 2-year-olds without saying whether a parent joins.

At 3, most classes are drop-off. Alpha, BearyFun, Bubbles, GymKraft, Karpenko, My Gym, NorthStar, Power Kids, Prime and The Little Gym all run a class for 3-year-olds without parents. Most last an hour, and Alpha, GymKraft, Prime and The Yard state one coach to six children at this age. The content varies most at this age. The Yard's KinderTots uses bars, beam, vault and floor, while My Gym mixes gymnastics with games and a puppet show.

At 4, the first squads and rhythmic classes open. Prime invites 4-year-olds from its KinderGym class to a girls' squad, Alpha recommends children aged 3 to 5 for its Mini Squad, and GymKraft invites some KinGym children to a two-hour class. Bianka Panova starts rhythmic gymnastics for girls in the year they turn 4, and GIM Sports moves children up to KinderGIM. Elsewhere, 4-year-olds stay in a recreational class for another year or two.

Is your child ready for gymnastics?

  • They can follow a coach and wait their turn for an hour. Most classes here run 60 minutes, in small groups on a circuit. If not yet, start with a parent-and-child class.
  • They are happy to be left with a coach. From 3, most classes in this guide are drop-off, and at Karpenko, Bianka Panova and Tumble Joy parents watch from outside the gym or not at all.
  • They love to climb, roll and bounce. At this age a class is obstacle courses, stations and first rolls, not routines.

If one of the three is not there yet, a trial class will tell you more than any checklist. Only Asia Gymnastics and Dance Academy publishes a free trial. Elsewhere published trials cost $40 to $78. Karpenko and GymKraft never credit the trial against fees, and The Little Gym only does if you enrol the same day. Tumble Joy makes a trial compulsory.

What changes at 5 and 6

Between 5 and 6, most schools here move children into a skills-based recreational class, and the competitive route opens. Prime's GymNovice teaches cartwheels, handstands and pullovers on the bars from 5. The Yard starts assessments at 5, three times a year, though moving up is a recommendation, not a rule. GymKraft's Super Squad starts at 5, Bubbles' Developmental Squad at 6, and Bianka Panova's National Pathway at 6, with 6 to 12 hours of training a week.

If you want gymnastics as a hobby, ask before you enrol. The Little Gym, My Gym, BearyFun and Power Kids say their programmes are non-competitive. Squads here are by invitation or selection, never by sign-up, and they mean more hours: four to six a week in GymKraft's Super Squad, and at least four in NorthStar's Development Squad.

How we picked these

Every school here is listed on Jungle. We checked each school Jungle lists for gymnastics at these ages on its own website, timetable, fee sheet or booking system, and kept the 16 that run a gymnastics class for children aged 2, 3 or 4 and are still trading. Where a class mixes gymnastics with games, music or other sports, the card says so.

The quick picks are our judgement: the parent-and-child class that names its apparatus and publishes a clear fee, the lowest published price a class, and the clearest published route into a squad. Fees, trials and timetables were read on 7 October 2026.
