Only one of the 27 art studios in this guide says a parent joins the class: Abrakadoodle, whose Twoosy Doodlers is for 18 months to 3. From 3, at least ten studios say plainly that you leave. What a 3-year-old then gets varies widely: an hour with one teacher to two children at My Art Pencil, 90 minutes and a workbook to buy at Art Grain, and a 48-lesson colouring-to-drawing certificate at The Art People.
This guide covers the 27 studios on Jungle that run a weekly art class for toddlers and preschoolers aged 2, 3 or 4. We checked each one on its own website, fee sheet or booking system on 7 October 2026. Every card says what a child of this age does, for how long, whether a parent stays, and what it costs where the studio publishes it. Sixteen studios do not publish a clear fee, and the cards say so.
Start with the summary of what changes between 2, 3 and 4, then the three quick picks. After that every studio is grouped by area, with the chains that have several branches at the end.

At 2, there is little to choose from. Abrakadoodle's Twoosy Doodlers is adult-accompanied. Shine Arts runs Art for Toddlers from 18 months, one teacher to four, but does not say whether parents stay. Seven studios start at two and a half: White Canvas, Art Wonderland, Da Little, Little Artists, Art Grain, Let Colour Soar and De Mini.
At 3, most studios expect you to leave. Artsy Bugsy, Tree Art, Da Little, My Art Pencil, Art Grain and ArtzGraine say so plainly, though My Art Pencil and ArtzGraine let a parent sit in at the first or trial class. Classes run 60 minutes at My Art Pencil, Achievers Arts and Abrakadoodle, and 90 at Artsy Bugsy, Art Grain and Sage Artelier. Most build each lesson on a theme, a story or a famous artist.
At 4, more studios open and classes get longer. Pei-Per, Studio Miu, KiLiO, Artify, Joyme, Zeniko and Artistori all start at 4, and Shine Arts moves children up to its Seeding Artist class. KiLiO runs 1 hour 45 minutes and Studio Miu 100 minutes. Pei-Per teaches mostly in Mandarin, and Artistori adds show and tell.
If one of the three is not there yet, a trial will tell you more than any checklist. Six studios run free trials: Artsy Bugsy, Tree Art, Little Artists, Artistori, Let Colour Soar and, for a limited time, ARTARY.

Twoosy Doodlers is the only class in this guide where the studio says a parent stays: an adult-accompanied hour for 18 months to 3, with five children at most. Toddlers scribble, tear, paste, print and paint with washable materials, with songs and movement between short activities. It runs five times a week at Great World in 2026, two of them at weekends. Mini Doodlers follows from 3.

My Art Pencil has the lowest cost to start of the studios that publish fees: $136 for four weekly one-hour lessons, materials included and no registration fee listed. It also has the smallest published group, one teacher to two children aged 3 to 5. Sage Artelier is cheaper per class on its 14-lesson package, at $30, but that means $420 plus $50 registration up front.
Price: $136 for 4 weekly lessons ($34 a class). Trial $39.

At 5 most studios move children up a level, and classes get longer. Artsy Bugsy (Mini Mantis), Art Grain (Headstart Art), ArtzGraine (Flint Corn), Sage Artelier (Fundamental), Global Art (Foundation) and De Mini (Mini Picasso) all have a next class from 5. Achievers Arts moves to 90 minutes at 5, and ARTARY's Fine Art 2 starts at five and a half, also at 90 minutes.
No studio here makes exams compulsory at this age. If a portfolio for Direct School Admission matters later, Tree Art, Art Grain, Let Colour Soar and Artistori run DSA courses for upper primary, and Global Art runs grading exams and a national competition.
Every studio here is listed on Jungle. We checked each studio Jungle lists for art at these ages on its own website, fee sheet or booking system, and kept the 27 that run a weekly drawing, painting, craft or clay class for children aged 2, 3 or 4 and are still trading. One-off workshops, art jamming, pottery painting and play spaces were left out.
Where a class mixes art with books, stories or speech, the card says so. The quick picks are our judgement: the only class that says a parent joins, the lowest cost to start among studios that publish fees, and the clearest published path to a portfolio. Fees, trials and timetables were read on 7 October 2026.
