The best free thing at Jewel Changi Airport for a toddler is not the waterfall. It is the West Gateway Playground on Level 2, a jungle-themed climbing frame for ages 2 to 5, which Jewel's own attractions page leaves out entirely. The page lists 15 ticketed things on Level 5 and not the one that costs nothing.
Jewel with kids is a day of attractions, not a mall of classes. There is no enrichment centre in the building, no music school and no swim school, which makes it the only mall in this series with nothing to enrol in. Jungle lists 2 places here, Canopy Park and Changi Experience Studio, and both are bookable.
The money question is the one to settle before you drive in. Canopy Park is $8 a person at the standard rate, $6 for Singapore residents and free under 3, and that covers the Discovery Slides, the Foggy Bowls and two gardens. The sky nets, the two mazes and the Canopy Bridge each cost extra, from $8.90 to $24.90 a ticket, and the bundles run to $71 an adult.
This guide separates the free from the paid, place by place, with the level, the hours and the 2026 price. For the beach, the park and the airport terminals around it, read our guide to things to do with kids in Changi, Loyang and Jewel.
Quick steer
The Rain Vortex is the 40 metre indoor waterfall at the centre of the building, falling 7 storeys through the Shiseido Forest Valley, a terraced garden of 2,000 trees and 100,000 shrubs. It runs from 10am to 10pm daily and costs nothing to see from any level. The best view with a pram is from the Level 1 or Level 2 edge of the valley; the best view for a child is from the Canopy Bridge, which is paid.
The light and music show plays at 8pm and 9pm from Monday to Thursday, with a third show at 10pm on Fridays, weekends, public holidays and their eves.
Why kids will love it: A waterfall indoors, with mist that reaches the railing, then colours running down it at 8pm. Best for every age. Arrive by 7.45pm for a spot on the Level 2 rail, and bring a jumper; the valley is cold.

The West Gateway Playground is the free play area Jewel does not advertise. It sits on Level 2 beside Tim Ho Wan, on the floor below the link bridge to Terminal 3, and it is built for ages 2 to 5: two tree structures with a ladder platform, a hammock swing, a slide, leaf stepping stones to a crocodile, red mushroom steps, a rope net at the base, play panels and zebra-striped whisper tubes at each end.
It is small, it is unfenced on the walkway side, and a six-year-old will be done in ten minutes. For a three-year-old it is the best quarter hour in the building.
Why kids will love it: Climbing a tree indoors and shouting down a tube to a parent at the other end. Best for ages 2 to 5. Go before 11am or after the 8pm show; it fills with transit families in between.

Canopy Park is the 14,000 square metre rooftop on Level 5, and the general ticket is cheaper than most parents expect: $8 at the standard rate for an adult or a child, $6 for Singapore residents with proof, $5.40 for Changi Rewards and CapitaStar members, and free under 3. That covers four things: the Discovery Slides, the Foggy Bowls, the Petal Garden and the Topiary Walk. Everything else on the roof is an extra ticket.
The catches: the Discovery Slides have a 110cm minimum height, food and drink are not allowed in, and luggage is barred. Lockers on Level 5 take a handbag; bigger bags go to the paid storage on Level 1. A day pass lets you leave and come back.
Why kids will love it: Slides built into a sculpture, then running through knee-high clouds in the Foggy Bowls until they are damp. Best for ages 3 to 8, and a 110cm child gets the slides. Go at 10am on a weekday; the roof is hot by noon and the fog is the only shade.

Nearest MRT: Changi Airport (CG2).
The two nets are the Canopy Park tickets that justify the trip for a child over 110cm, and each includes general admission. The Walking Net is a 50 metre web strung 25 metres above the Forest Valley: $18.90 standard or $13.90 a child, $15.90 and $10.90 for residents. The Bouncing Net is 250 metres of trampoline mesh 8 metres up, one 45 minute session including a 10 minute briefing: $24.90 or $19.90, $20.90 and $15.90 for residents.
Both have a 110cm minimum, both close at 9pm every night regardless of the park's Friday hours, and both bar wheeled bags.
Why kids will love it: Looking straight down through the mesh at shoppers five floors below, then bouncing until the briefing wears off. Best for ages 6 to 12 who clear 110cm. Book the first Bouncing Net slot of the day; the briefing queue is the longest wait on the roof.

Ages: 3 to 12 for a child ticket, minimum 110cm.
Nearest MRT: Changi Airport (CG2).
The three remaining tickets suit a child under 110cm, because none of them has a height rule. The Mastercard Canopy Bridge is a 50 metre walkway 23 metres above the valley floor with a glass-bottomed middle and fog at both ends: $13.90 adult or $11.90 child, $11.90 and $8.90 for residents. The Hedge Maze is the same price, and the Mirror Maze is $18.90 or $13.90, $15.90 and $10.90 for residents.
Bundle 1 puts the bridge, both mazes, the Walking Net and general admission together for $39 an adult and $29 a child; Bundle 2 adds the Bouncing Net for $54 and $39. Mastercard holders get one-for-one bridge tickets Monday to Thursday with the code MCJEWEL. A PlayAtJewel annual pass is $75 for a child and $105 for an adult, so a family coming twice a year breaks even.
Why kids will love it: Standing on glass over the waterfall and refusing to look down, then getting lost in a hedge on purpose. Best for ages 4 to 10. Do the mazes first and the bridge last, when the 8pm lights are on.

Kiztopia Club is the paid indoor playground, and it is inside the Toys"R"Us at #B1-210, so you walk through the toy aisles to reach it. It is 4,500 square feet with an aviation theme: a ball pit with a funnel slide, a large aeroplane prop with a boarding-pass photo corner, a working luggage conveyor, trampolines, a ball-shooting wall and pretend-play rooms for a mart, a clinic and a kitchen.
The last published price is $22.80 for one hour or $32.80 for two, for one child and one adult, with each extra adult $12. Kiztopia does not publish a Jewel-specific price page in 2026; those figures are from the operator's partner listings. No sock rule is published for this outlet; bring socks anyway.
Why kids will love it: Loading suitcases onto a conveyor that actually moves, then the funnel slide into the ball pit. Best for ages 2 to 7. The two-hour ticket is the better value; one hour is gone in the queue for the slide.

Shaw Theatres at #B2-237 has one of the chain's four Dreamers halls, a family screening room built for small children, where nobody shushes a four-year-old. Child tickets, for anyone under 13 and over 90cm, are $9 off-peak and $12 at peak, adults $16 and $20, and a toddler under 90cm sits on a lap for nothing. The hall also runs IMAX in its main auditoriums for the older ones.
Check the Dreamers timetable before you come; it is a handful of sessions a day, not every film.
Why kids will love it: A cinema where getting up and playing mid-film is allowed. Best for ages 2 to 6. Book the 10am weekend Dreamers session; it is the quietest and the only one before the mall fills.

The rest of the kids' retail is on two floors. Toys"R"Us at #B1-210 opens 10am to 10pm and carries Babies"R"Us, which makes it the emergency nappy stop. Pokémon Center Singapore at #04-201 to 203 reopened on 1 July 2026 after a three-month rebuild as the first full revamp of any Pokémon Center outside Japan, open 10am to 10pm with free entry; queue tickets were still being issued on busy days in August, so check its site before promising a child.
There are no enrichment centres at Jewel. No music school, no art studio, no swim school, no tuition. The one place a child learns something is Changi Experience Studio, which is on Jungle. For a class with a free first lesson, the nearest are in Tampines and Pasir Ris, listed in our guide to free trial classes in Singapore.

Changi Experience Studio on Level 4 is a digital museum of the airport: 20 interactive stations across 10 zones, from a runway-control game to a baggage race and an aviation history gallery. Jewel pitches it at ages 6 and up because the games need reading, and children under 5 enter free. Standard tickets are $25 an adult and $17 a child, residents pay $19.80 and $14.80, and the family bundle of two adults and two children is $59.80.
Bundle 3 adds it to the Canopy Park set for $56 an adult and $40 a child. Allow 90 minutes. Last admission is 7pm.
Why kids will love it: Landing a plane on a screen the size of a wall, then racing a suitcase through the sorting system. Best for ages 6 to 11; a four-year-old will be carried through it. Go on a weekday after 3pm when the school groups have left.

Three restaurants at Jewel feed a child for free in 2026, and two more that used to, Perch and Tonito, have closed. The kids-eat-free lists still carrying them are out of date. The food court reopened in July.
Food Republic at #B2-238 to 240 relaunched on 3 July 2026 as a 1970s shophouse street with more than 20 stalls, four of them Michelin Bib Gourmand hawkers. It opens at 8am, which makes it the breakfast stop before a 10am Canopy Park slot, and runs to 10.30pm, or 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays. The tables are shared and the aisles are tight for a pram at lunch.
Why kids will love it: A kaya toast at a shophouse counter and a plate of chicken rice they can eat with a spoon. Best for any age. Come at 8.30am; by noon the queue at the Bib Gourmand stalls is twenty deep.

White Restaurant at #B1-245/246 is the Sembawang white beehoon chain, and its deal is the most generous in the building on a weekday: a free kids' meal worth $9.90 for every child under 140cm with every $50 spent on full-priced items, Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. The meal comes with a juice, crayons and an activity sheet. It opens 10am to 10pm daily.
Why kids will love it: Beehoon they can slurp without chilli, and crayons that arrive before the food does. Best for ages 2 to 10. Two adults ordering a main each clears the $50.

PUTIEN at #02-249 runs the chain's standing offer: a child under 4, in a high chair, gets a free set of one main, one side dish and one drink, dine-in only and subject to what is in season. The Fujian menu is mild, and the bee hoon and the sweet and sour pork are the two dishes most children here are eating. It opens 10am to 10pm daily.
Why kids will love it: A plate of their own that arrives first, and sweet and sour pork cut small. Best for ages 1 to 3. Book; the Level 2 restaurants fill by 12.30pm.

Paris Baguette at #02-200 is the all-day dining branch of the Korean bakery, and its Jewel outlet is one of three in Singapore with the kids-dine-free deal: a free kids' main for a child aged 12 or under with every two adult mains ordered. It is also the only sit-down place at Jewel open 24 hours at weekends, 8am to 10pm on weekdays, which matters at 6am with a jet-lagged child.
Why kids will love it: Picking a cake from the counter on the way to the table. Best for any age. Order the two mains first; the deal needs them on one bill.

Earle Swensen's, Collin's, Tanuki Raw and O'Coffee Club appear in some Jewel directories, but we could not confirm any of them in a dated 2026 list, so their kids' deals are not in this guide.
Jewel sits between Terminals 1, 2 and 3, and every route in is a link bridge or a lift.
The airport terminals have more free play than Jewel does, and the rest of the east is one or two MRT stops away.
