Pasir Ris Mall has no library. Pasir Ris Public Library is where it has been since 2000, on Level 4 of White Sands across Pasir Ris Central, and half the parents searching for "Pasir Ris Mall library" are looking in the wrong building. We say so first because the walk between the two malls is three minutes, and a day in Pasir Ris with children uses both.
What the new mall has instead is the only free playground in a Pasir Ris shopping centre. It opened with the mall in the middle of 2024, on the open-air Level 2 Central Greenway that leads to Pasir Ris Park, and it is unsheltered, so it is a 10am or a 6pm playground rather than a noon one.
Inside, the mall's own directory lists eight education and enrichment tenants, six of them in one run of Level 2 shopfronts, plus Wan To Play's Sky Castle, BearyFun Gym's largest branch and a Timezone with mini bowling. Only one of the eight, Dancepointe Academy, is on Jungle with a booking link so far. The rest are named here with the unit and phone number, which nobody else publishes.
This guide covers every kids' reason to go, place by place, with the unit, the hours and the price. Where a centre publishes no fee we say so rather than guess. For the park, the pool, the hawker centre and the rest of the town, read our guide to things to do with kids in Pasir Ris and Simei.
Quick steer
The free playground sits on the open-air Central Greenway on Level 2, the walkway that overlooks Pasir Ris MRT and runs towards Pasir Ris Park. It is two small play areas side by side. The first has a sensory wall, climbing frames, hammock swings and three trampolines set into the ground. The second is wooden: a balancing log, stepping posts, a see-saw and spring riders. It is sized for ages 1 to 6.
There is no shade over the equipment. The mall says 10am to 10pm, and the alfresco tables of White Restaurant and Buddy Hoagies face it, so one parent can eat while the other stands at the trampolines.
Why kids will love it: Three trampolines they do not have to queue for, then the log to walk without holding a hand. Best for ages 2 to 6. Go before 11am or after 5pm; the rubber surface is hot by noon. Bring water, there is no cooler.

Wan To Play's Sky Castle at #02-58 is the mall's paid indoor playground, opened in January 2025 in front of Timezone. Seven zones: a ball pit under a three-storey obstacle course with a funnel slide and a fast slide, a trampoline zone, a plastic sand pit, kinetic sand tables, a magnetic tile corner, dress-up and pretend-play rooms with a mini supermarket and kitchen, and a quieter interactive media room. There is a private party room behind the media room.
Entry is $18 for one hour or $35 for two, each for one child with one adult. Socks are compulsory. Wan To Play lists 9am to 9pm daily; the mall's directory says 10am to 10pm, so confirm the first hour before an early start.
Why kids will love it: The funnel slide, then the supermarket till, then the funnel slide again. Best for ages 2 to 7; a nine-year-old will be done in forty minutes. Two hours is the right ticket on a wet Saturday.

Timezone at #02-55 is 9,881 square feet, one of the larger ones in the east, and the thing that sets it apart for a family is the mini bowling: short lanes and lighter balls for children who cannot lift a standard one. The rest is arcade machines with ticket redemption, claw machines, music games and a four-player Hologate VR pod. It opens at 11am on weekdays and 10am at weekends and in the school holidays.
Timezone sells game credit on a card rather than publishing a per-game price, so budget before you load it. Birthday parties are 80 minutes of unlimited play with a host, booked online.
Why kids will love it: Bowling a ball they can actually hold, and the ticket counter at the end. Best for ages 5 to 12. Weekday afternoons are empty; Saturday after 3pm is not.

The library every "Pasir Ris Mall library" search is really after is on Level 4 of White Sands, three minutes across Pasir Ris Central, and it has been there since 6 October 2000. It was rebuilt in 2015 as the first mall library with a teen space, and keeps a full children's section with storytelling. Open 11am to 9pm daily, closing at 5pm on the eves of Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year, and closed on public holidays.
Why kids will love it: A children's section they can sit on the floor of, and a storytime they can sit through. Best for ages 2 to 10. Use it as the air-conditioned hour after the playground, before a Level 2 class back at the mall.

The small things on Level 2 are worth knowing. The kiddy rides are behind Kopifellas Cafe at #02-59, merry-go-rounds and a Frozen car, from $3 a ride. HaveFun Karaoke at #02-54 rents family rooms from $20 an hour before 6pm on weekdays, and Fun Claw at #B2-24 is the claw-machine hall for the child who found Timezone too loud. Decathlon at #02-30/31 is where the scooter helmet comes from.
Say what is missing: the mall's Kids category holds exactly two tenants, both play, and there is no toy shop, no children's bookshop and no kids' salon in the directory. The clinics are there, though. Advanced Dental at #B2-39, Twinkle Family Dental Care and Parkway Shenton are inside, and Pasir Ris Polyclinic is in the same development at 6 Pasir Ris Drive 8, #L1M-01, open weekdays 8am to 4.30pm by appointment on 6643 6969.
Eight education and enrichment tenants are in the mall's directory, six of them along the outdoor corridor on Level 2 between #02-11 and #02-14 and the run from #02-50 to #02-58, with MindChamps on Level 1. One is on Jungle and comes first. Two offer a free trial.

Photo: Dancepointe Academy, Jungle listing
Dancepointe's Pasir Ris branch is at #02-50, one of 22 the chain runs in Singapore, and it is the only kids' centre in the mall with a Jungle booking link. Classical ballet starts at age 3 on the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, with CSTD jazz, hip hop, contemporary and K-pop from primary age, in classes of 45 to 90 minutes. The academy offers a trial class to new students and publishes no fees.
One correction to the listings: Jungle has this branch at #02-45. The mall's directory and Dancepointe's own branch page both say #02-50.
Why kids will love it: A real barre, pink shoes and a syllabus exam with a certificate at the end. Best for ages 3 to 8 for ballet, 8 to 14 for hip hop and K-pop. Book the trial before term starts; weekend slots fill first.

Classes are banded by age: Bearytots at 18 months to 3, then Jolly at 3, Bubbly at 4, Lively at 5, Flexi at 6 and a fitness class from 7. Eight children per class, Tuesday to Sunday, 9am to 7pm. Trials are booked online. Fees are not published.
Why kids will love it: Foam pits, a low beam and a coach who lets a two-year-old jump off things on purpose. Best for ages 2 to 6. It is not yet on Jungle.

Heguru at #02-14, reached from the outdoor corridor on Level 2, is the Japanese right-brain programme for children from 6 months to 12 years: fast-paced flashcard, memory, numeracy and language drills in a parent-accompanied class for the youngest, with instructors certified by the Japan headquarters. It is the earliest-starting class in the building. Fees and the timetable are not on the mall's page, and Heguru's own site would not load on the day of writing.
Why kids will love it: Forty minutes of cards, songs and puzzles that move faster than they can get bored. Best for ages 1 to 4 with a parent. Ask about the trial when you call; there is no walk-in.

Tree Art at #02-57 is the art school's Pasir Ris branch, one of 14, founded in 2015 and running arts and crafts, a brain-training programme, life-skills classes and holiday camp workshops. It shares a unit with Futurum Academy below. Tree Art's own site was unreachable on the day of writing, so the ages and fees here are what the mall and third-party listings carry: no published fees, no published trial price.
Why kids will love it: Paint, clay and a finished piece to carry home every week. Best for ages 4 to 10. Call before you come; the timetable is not online.

Futurum Academy, in the same #02-57 unit as Tree Art, is a coding and robotics school for ages 4 to 18 with branches at Bishan, Funan, Novena and Serangoon. The curriculum is built on computational thinking and spirals through coding, digital art, 3D design and printing and engineering design, so the same concepts come back harder each year. Fees are not published.
Why kids will love it: A 3D-printed thing they designed, and a robot that does what they told it. Best for ages 6 to 12 who have outgrown Scratch at school.

MindChamps at #01-23 is the mall's preschool, for 18 months to 6 years, with its own indoor gym, outdoor playground, library and a cafe used for cooking lessons. It is a full-day school rather than a drop-in class, and the current offer is 20 per cent off fees for the first 12 months for the first 30 new students. The directory lists MindSpace at the same unit with its own phone number and no description.
Why kids will love it: A gym and a playground inside their own school, and a "Here I Come, P1!" year that makes primary school feel planned. Best for ages 2 to 6. Book a tour on a weekday morning.

Mavis at #02-11/13 is the 30-year-old tuition chain's Pasir Ris branch, one of 17, teaching primary and secondary subjects towards PSLE and O Levels in classes of 6 to 12. It is the one centre in the mall with a published timetable and a free trial: open from 1.30pm on Monday, Thursday and Friday, from 9.30am at weekends, closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Registration for 2027 is open with up to 25 per cent off monthly fees.
Why kids will love it: Not the point. Parents will like the free trial and a Sunday 9.30am slot that leaves the afternoon for the playground. Best for Primary 3 to Secondary 4.

Snap Fitness at #02-18 is adults only, and the Customer Service Counter beside it is where you ask for anything the directory does not say.
Two of the eight offer a free trial. For the island-wide list, read our guide to free trial classes for kids in Singapore. Browse Pasir Ris Mall classes on Jungle.
Pasir Ris Mall has about 60 food outlets on four floors, two food courts and one real kids-eat-free deal. Three places have a children's meal with a price we could confirm. The rest of the 2026 directory is noodles, hotpot, Korean barbecue and cafes, listed below by floor.
Bagus by Kopitiam at #B2-17 is the mall's halal food court, Kopitiam's newer format with the usual mix of rice, noodle and Western stalls, open 10am to 10pm. Malaysia Boleh at #B1-34 is the second, a Malaysian hawker atrium a floor up. Both are tray-and-table food courts, and Basement 1 also has McDonald's and the Cold Storage, so it is the floor to feed everyone on.
Why kids will love it: A plate of chicken rice and a cendol at Malaysia Boleh, in that order. Best for any age. Basement 2 is quieter at 12.30pm than Basement 1.

Guzman y Gomez at #01-13 runs the one kids-eat-free deal in the building: two free kids' meals with the purchase of two regular mains, every Sunday from 10.30am, at every outlet except two in the CBD, per BYKidO's September 2026 list. The outlet opens at 8am for breakfast on Fridays, weekends and public holidays. GYG's own site does not state the deal, so it is BYKidO's word and the counter's.
Why kids will love it: A burrito the size of their forearm, chosen from a picture board. Best for ages 3 and up. Go at 11am on Sunday; the deal and the brunch crowd arrive together.

Earle Swensen's at #02-16 is the halal-certified sister brand of Swensen's, with smashed burgers, Neapolitan pizzas and an all-you-can-eat salad bar, and it carries the Swensen's kids' menu: six meals at $10.90 each, from Spaghetti Twirlies to Fish 'N' Chippies, with a corn cup or fruit yoghurt and a drink. The price is from the August 2024 launch and 2026 menu aggregators still show it. It is the sit-down restaurant nearest the Level 2 classes.
Why kids will love it: An ice cream sundae they chose from a picture menu, after a plate of spaghetti they finished. Best for ages 3 to 10. Book on weekend evenings.

McDonald's at #B1-41 is beside Malaysia Boleh and the Cold Storage, which makes Basement 1 the floor where a family with a toddler and a seven-year-old can eat at the same time from different counters. It keeps mall hours rather than opening 24 hours, and the Happy Meal is the children's meal; its price is in the app, not on the mall's page.
Why kids will love it: The Happy Meal toy, eaten on the way up to the playground. Best for any age. Avoid 12.30pm on Saturday, when the whole of Level 2's class pick-up comes down the escalator.
