The biggest mall in the north has exactly two kids' enrichment centres among its 227 shops, and both of them teach music. Causeway Point opened on 30 May 1999 beside Woodlands MRT, has nine floors and 420,000 square feet, and its own directory lists two tenants under Schools: Aureus Academy on Level 4 and Symphony Music School on Level 5. One is on Jungle.
That is not the mall's fault so much as Woodlands' layout. The classes are next door. Woodlands Civic Centre, across the road from Exit 2, holds a dance school, a taekwondo club and an English school on Jungle, plus the Regional Library. Woods Square has a coding school with a free trial.
What Causeway Point has is play. The Dino Playground on Level 7 is a free water playground open 10am to 9pm, with a Timezone, a kopitiam open from 8am and the cinema that reopened as MY Cinemas in July 2026 on the same floor. Nursing rooms, family lots and baby seats are all on the mall's family page, which gives no levels for any of them.
This guide covers every kids' reason to go, place by place, with the unit, the hours and the price. Where a centre publishes no fee we say so rather than guess. For the parks, pools and free playgrounds around the mall, read our guide to things to do with kids in Woodlands.
Quick steer
The mall's family page lists one play area. Sassy Mama's directory still lists three, including a safari playground and a train playground on Level 2. Wikipedia records the Level 2 dry playground as demolished in late 2019, and the 2026 directory has nothing on that floor for children. Go to Level 7.
The Dino Playground is a free outdoor water playground on the Level 7 roof deck, open 10am to 9pm daily and to the public, not only to shoppers. Play runs in hourly sessions: 45 minutes of playtime, then a 15-minute changeover, with no extensions and a capacity of 80 children. It is for ages 12 and under.
It closes for maintenance on the second Monday of every month, or the following day if that Monday is a public holiday, and in bad weather. The mall recommends swimwear and parent supervision.
Why kids will love it: Running through the water jets inside a 2.2-metre dinosaur rib cage, then the two winding slides off the volcano, which also puffs mist. The Toddler Dino Zone with its mini fountains suits ages 2 to 5; the slides suit 5 to 12. Come on a weekday morning, and after 7pm the lights come on.

Timezone at #07-02 is the arcade across from the Dino Playground: claw machines along the walls, rhythm games, boxing and basketball cabinets, Dragon Storm and an Ultra Moto VR bike. There are no bumper cars and no bowling at this branch. Play is on a Powercard that works at every Timezone in Singapore, and birthday parties need advance booking.
Why kids will love it: A claw machine win, or the illusion of one, and the air hockey table. Best for ages 6 to 12. Set a Powercard limit before you walk in, and go before 6pm on a weekend when the queues for the rhythm games form.

The nearest indoor playground is not in the mall. Wan To Play Tropical Drift at #04-07 Woodlands Civic Centre, across the road from Exit 2, is a ticketed indoor playground open 9am to 9pm daily. Inside are slides and trampolines, a ball pit, a sensory bead zone, a fishing pond and pretend-play stations, plus paid rides: an excavator simulator, a carousel and bumper cars on an LED floor.
Why kids will love it: Driving a bumper car at four, then the bead zone to calm down. Best for ages 2 to 7. Two hours is enough; the add-on rides are 10 minutes each and the bill grows fast.

The rest of the family floor at Causeway Point is retail. Kiddy Palace at #03-27/28 is open 11am to 8.30pm for the swimsuit you forgot for Level 7, and POPULAR at #03-29/30 is the assessment-book stop. TOG at #04-05 sells video games and figures, KKV at #02-01/02 is the cheap stationery and toy shop, and Metro's children's department is on Level 2.
Fun Claw at #03-07 and the Odoroki gachapon kiosk at #03-K01 are the two-dollar bribes. MY Cinemas at #07-01 took over the Level 7 halls that Cathay Cineplexes closed on 30 August 2025 and opened in July 2026. Raffles Medical at #05-20 runs a GP clinic until 9.30pm every day, which matters at 8pm with a feverish child.
Two tenants sit under Schools in the 227-shop directory, both music schools, one on Jungle. Three more Jungle-listed centres are five minutes away at Woodlands Civic Centre and come after them, because a Woodlands parent books across the road as readily as upstairs. One offers a free trial, one a free assessment.

Photo: Aureus Academy, Jungle listing
Aureus Academy at #04-25/26 is the one Causeway Point centre on Jungle, and the only one in the building that publishes its prices. Lessons are one-to-one in piano, drums, guitar, violin and voice, plus a Musical Adventure class for the youngest. Three monthly packages of four lessons: $279 for 30 minutes, $399 for 45 and $519 for 60. The centre is open until 8pm every day, from 9am at weekends.
Why kids will love it: A drum kit they are allowed to hit and a trophy at the end of each level. Best for ages 5 and up who want an instrument rather than music and movement. Book the trial online; the price is not on the site.

Symphony Music School at #05-04 is the older of the two, a Woodlands school that prepares students for ABRSM, LCME and RSL exams and runs group courses in guitar, keyboard, pop vocal and ukulele alongside individual lessons. It is open 11am to 9.30pm every day, later than Aureus, which suits a parent collecting after work. It is not yet on Jungle and publishes no fees, no age bands and no trial offer.
Why kids will love it: A ukulele class with other children instead of a solo piano lesson, and a Rock and Pop grade for the one who wants drums. Best for ages 6 to 12. Call before you come; the website gives no timetable.

Classical ballet is the core, with jazz, hip hop and other styles on the timetable, from age 3. The studio opens from 1pm on weekdays and from 9am at weekends.
Why kids will love it: A proper barre, a mirror wall and a year-end show on a stage. Best for ages 3 to 8. The weekend morning slots fill first; ask for a weekday 4pm class if your child is in half-day preschool.

Why kids will love it: Kicking a pad as hard as they like and being praised for it, then a belt to show for it. Best for ages 4 to 10, and a good first sport for a child who needs to run before they can sit.

Why kids will love it: Reading their first book aloud to a teacher who claps. Best for ages 4 to 8 for phonics, 9 to 12 for composition.

Two more Jungle-listed centres are at Woods Square, the office and retail block across Woodlands Square from Exit 1: The Lab Singapore at #04-68 Tower 1, a coding and robotics school for ages 5 to 14 with a free trial class, and Common Man Fight Club at #04-31 Solo 2, a boxing and Muay Thai gym with a trial for children from 7.
One of the eight offers a free trial and one a free assessment. For the island-wide list, read our guide to free trial classes for kids in Singapore. Browse Causeway Point classes on Jungle.
Causeway Point has 81 food outlets in the October 2026 directory, a food court on Level 4 and a kopitiam on Level 7 beside the Dino Playground. Three places have a real children's price: a buffet where a child under 100cm eats free, a $9.90 kids' meal that is free on the last Sunday of the month, and Swensen's.
Food Republic at #04-01 to 04 is the food court, 16 stalls open 10am to 10pm on the same floor as Aureus Academy. The useful ones for a child are Wee Nam Kee Chicken Rice, Lam's Abalone Noodle, Chai's Original Sliced Fish Soup, Pepper Lunch Express and You Men Hong Kong Roast, with a juice bar and an ice kacang stall for afterwards. Bagus by Kopitiam at #07-03 is the cheaper option by the playground, open from 8am.
Why kids will love it: Chicken rice in 10 minutes and shaved ice after. Best for any age. Go at 11.30am or after 2pm; the lunch queue from Republic Polytechnic and the offices fills it from noon.

Shabu Sai at #05-14/15 is a Japanese shabu-shabu buffet, one of eight outlets, and the one restaurant in the mall where a small child eats free. A child under 100cm pays nothing; from 100cm to 140cm the child rate is $11.99++. Adults pay $18.99++ for a 70-minute weekday lunch, $22.99++ at weekend lunch, $25.99++ for dinner Monday to Thursday and $27.99++ from Friday to Sunday, 90 minutes. Prices are from the February 2025 menu and carry service charge and GST.
Why kids will love it: Cooking their own noodles in a mild broth and the free-flow ice cream, which is $2.50++ extra with the drinks. Best for ages 4 and up who can sit near a hotpot. There is a height chart at the door, so do not argue.

The kids-eat-free deal that parenting sites list for Swensen's applies only to the three Swensen's Unlimited buffets, none of them here. The ice cream sundae is the reason to come.
