Most music schools in Singapore say they teach from 2 or 3. What a toddler actually gets varies far more. At Aureus it is a one-to-one lesson from two and a half. At Rocktone it is a drum lesson from 3, with parents kept out of the studio. For babies, look elsewhere: Bloom and Kindermusik take newborns, with you beside them.
This guide covers the 14 schools on Jungle that run a music class a child aged 3 or under can join. We checked each one on its own website, timetable or fee sheet on 7 October 2026, and left out 12 that did not qualify. Every card says what a child this age does in class, for how long, whether you stay, and what it costs where the school says.
Start with the summary of what changes between babyhood and 3, then the three quick picks. After that every school is grouped by area, with the three chains at the end. Most schools do not publish fees, and the cards say so.

Under 18 months, you are part of the class. Bloom and Kindermusik start at birth, Our Music Studio and The Music Scientist at 4 months, and Creative Hearts at 6 months. Every one of these baby classes has a parent or carer in the room. Expect bouncing and rocking songs, peek-a-boo games, parachutes, bubbles and first percussion. Classes run 30 minutes at Creative Hearts, 45 at Bloom, Kindermusik and Our Music Studio, and an hour at The Music Scientist.
From 18 months to 3, most classes still want you there. Toddler classes add instruments and listening games. Learn 2 Play's 30-minute playgroup has toddlers singing, dancing and trying a keyboard. Bloom's Musikgarten class has them tapping with hands, feet and percussion. Yamaha's Apple Course starts at 2, 40 minutes with a parent, and MYC's Sunrise uses teddy bears and puppets to teach rhythm. Fun Melodia's class for 2 to 4 does not say whether parents stay.
At 3, classes split two ways. Some go drop-off: Kindermusik Level 3, Our Music Studio's Melodic Kids, Creative Hearts' Musical Kids and, from three and a half, Medley Preschooler. Others start an instrument: Yamaha's Explorer course and MYC's Sunshine 1 are keyboard groups with a parent in class. Aureus and Rocktone teach one-to-one.
If one of the three is not there yet, a trial class will tell you more than any checklist. Yamaha's sit-in trials, Aureus's first lesson and Rocktone's trial lesson are free. Creative Hearts charges $21, The Music Scientist $45 and Bloom $49. Kindermusik's trial is free only if you sign up on the day.

Our Music Studio publishes the most parent-and-child slots of any school here: 27 a week across four classes, three of them marked new, on a timetable updated on 6 October 2026. Classes are split finely by age, from 4 months to 3, and every one is 45 minutes with one adult per child. Instruments are provided. The catch: fees are not published, and a trial can be cancelled only with a medical certificate.
Price: Our Music Studio does not publish its fees online. Contact them for current prices.

Yamaha publishes the lowest price a class of the five schools that show fees: $49 at weekends and $45 on weekdays for the Explorer keyboard course from 3, GST included, with a free sit-in trial. The Apple Course for 2-year-olds is $438 a three-month term. Add a $60 registration fee and books. The catch is reach: the Apple Course runs at only three schools, and Explorer families need a keyboard at home.
Price: $534 for an 11-lesson Explorer term ($49 a class), or $498 on weekdays ($45 a class). Free sit-in trial.

MYC has the clearest route from a toddler class to a first instrument exam. Sunrise, from 2, is music and movement in three 10-week blocks. Sunshine 1, from 3, is an hour-long keyboard group with a parent in class, and the levels that follow end with a first piano and theory exam. Each centre is run by its own licensed teacher, so fees differ. MYC Orchard puts beginner group lessons at around $72 each.
Price: MYC Orchard says beginner group lessons average around $72 a lesson, including materials. Other centres do not publish fees.

From 4, most schools here move children towards an instrument and out of the parent-and-child room. Our Music Studio's Young Musicians (4.5 to 6) is unaccompanied, and Kindermusik's Young Child course (4.5 to 7) moves on to glockenspiel, dulcimer and recorder in 75-minute classes. Bloom moves to Tutti Keyboard at 4, Creative Hearts to Little Pianists in groups of three, Fun Melodia to Junior Pianist at four and a half, and Aureus to focused one-to-one lessons at 4 to 5.
Two chains start at three and a half, just past this guide's ages. Cristofori Music School runs I CAN PLAY, a year-long piano course in groups of two or three, at about $61 a class, though it does not say which of its branches run it. Edvox Music and Dance runs Funtime DoReMe, a small-group course with singing, piano, violin and percussion, at all six of its Jungle branches.
Exams start later. MYC's levels build towards a first piano and theory exam at the end of Moonbeams, its level for 7 to 9. Cristofori's route after I CAN PLAY is individual graded piano from 5. Rocktone says its Rockschool exams are optional, and Yamaha runs its own grade exams. If you want music as a hobby without exams, ask before you enrol.
Every school here is listed on Jungle. We checked each school Jungle lists for music at these ages on its own website, timetable or fee sheet, and kept the 14 that run a class a child aged 3 or under can join and are still trading.
Where a class is one-to-one, starts at three and a half, or teaches an instrument rather than music and movement, the card says so. The quick picks are our judgement: the parent-and-child class with the most published weekly slots, the lowest published price a class, and the clearest route from a toddler class to a first instrument exam. Fees, trials and timetables were read on 7 October 2026.
