5 WhatsApp messages every Singapore enrichment centre should send after a trial class

Published: 2026-04-10 · 4 min read

You ran a great trial class. The child loved it. The parent seemed genuinely interested. And then nothing. They stopped replying.

If this has happened to you, you are not alone. It happens to enrichment centres across Singapore every single week. And in most cases, it has nothing to do with the quality of your class.

It comes down to one thing: what you say after the trial, and how quickly you say it.

Why the follow-up is where most centres lose families

When a parent brings their child for a trial class, their intent is at its highest point. They have already done the research, made the journey, and invested their Saturday morning. They want it to work.

But after the class, life gets busy again. Other options come to mind. If they do not hear from you quickly, or if what they do hear is generic and transactional, that warm feeling fades fast.

The centres that convert the most trial students are not always the ones with the best curriculum. They are the ones with the best communication. A warm, timely, personal message after a trial does more for your enrolment rate than almost any other single action.

What is in the free toolkit

We have put together 5 ready-to-send WhatsApp scripts that cover every stage of the trial journey, from the moment a parent books all the way through to the gentle nudge if they have not replied after 48 hours.

Here is what is included:

Script 1: Trial Class Booking Confirmation
Script 2: Day-Before Reminder
Script 3: Same-Day Welcome Message
Script 4: Post-Trial Follow-Up
Script 5: Gentle Nudge: No Reply After 48 Hours

The toolkit also includes a bonus section on what to do when parents go quiet, covering the five most common scenarios and exactly what to say in each one.

The booking confirmation is the single most important message in the sequence. Parents feel anxious after booking a new class. They wonder if they made the right decision, whether their child will enjoy it, and whether they have all the information they need.

A fast, warm, detailed confirmation message puts all of that at rest. Here is the one we recommend:

Script 1: Booking Confirmation · Send immediately after the parent registers
Hi [Parent Name]!

Thank you for booking a trial class at [Centre Name]! We are so excited to welcome [Child's Name].

Here are your details:
Date: [Day, Date]
Time: [Start Time]
Location: [Address or Unit Number]
What to bring: [e.g. comfortable clothes, water bottle]

If you have any questions before the class, feel free to message us here anytime. See you soon!

Pro tip: Send this within 5 minutes of a booking. Include everything the parent needs in one message so they do not have to ask. The faster and more complete your confirmation, the more trustworthy your centre feels before the class even begins.

How to send this automatically using WhatsApp

Sending Script 1 manually every time a parent books is fine when you have a handful of trials a week. But as your centre grows, manually copying and pasting a confirmation for every booking adds up fast, and the risk of forgetting or delaying a message increases.

The good news is WhatsApp Business has a built-in feature called Greeting Messages that lets you send an automatic reply the moment a parent messages you for the first time. Here is how to set it up in under 5 minutes:

Setting up a WhatsApp Business Greeting Message

Open WhatsApp Business on your phone and go to Settings.
Tap Business Tools, then tap Greeting Message.
Toggle Send Greeting Message on.
Tap the message field and paste Script 1 with your centre details already filled in.
Under Recipients, choose All contacts or the relevant customer group.
Tap Save. Done.

This means the moment a parent messages your WhatsApp number after booking, they receive your confirmation instantly, even at 11pm, even when you are in the middle of teaching.

One thing to keep in mind: WhatsApp Greeting Messages work best as an immediate acknowledgement since they send the same message to every new contact. For fully personalised confirmations, with the parent's name, child's name, and booking details pulled in automatically, you need a booking system that triggers WhatsApp messages based on actual booking data. That is exactly what Jungle does.

Want Scripts 2 to 5 and the bonus section?

Scripts 2 to 5 cover the day-before reminder, the same-day welcome, the all-important post-trial follow-up, and the gentle nudge for parents who have gone quiet. The bonus section covers five tricky scenarios, including what to say when a parent says it is too expensive or when the child loved it but the parent is still hesitant.

Enter your details below and you will be able to download the full PDF toolkit straight to your inbox. It is free, no strings attached, and you can start using the scripts today.

Want this handled automatically?

These scripts will help you convert more trial students when you send them manually. But if you want your confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups sent automatically, even when you are teaching, Jungle's platform handles all of it for you.

Jungle is built specifically for Singapore's kids activity providers. Visit partner.jungle.baby to see how it works or schedule a free call with our team.
