Junction 10 was built around a train station that no longer exists. The Ten Mile Junction LRT platform sat on its third floor, the country's only air-conditioned LRT station, until 13 January 2019, the first in Singapore ever shut and removed. It kept the name and two retail floors, filling them with what no other Bukit Panjang mall has: 14 enrichment and tuition centres, nearly one shop in three.
That is the whole case for Junction 10 with kids. It has no playground, no food court, no toy shop and no kiddy rides, which Hillion Mall and Bukit Panjang Plaza next door do better.
What it has is art, ballet, coding, music, taekwondo, reading, writing and student care within one lift ride, a Sheng Siong open from 7am, a halal Korean buffet where a child under 100cm eats free, and the NUH Children's Urgent Care Clinic at #01-22, open 9am to 11pm every day of the year. That is the one tenant every Bukit Panjang parent should know the unit number of.
This guide covers every kids' reason to go, place by place, with the unit, the hours and the price. Where a centre publishes no fee we say so rather than guess. For the parks, pools and free playgrounds around the mall, read our guide to things to do with kids in Bukit Panjang and Choa Chu Kang.
Quick steer
There is no play area inside Junction 10, free or paid, and the mall's directory lists no kiddy rides and no toy shop. The nearest playground is at Bukit Panjang Plaza, and we include it here so you know what you are walking to.
Bukit Panjang Plaza's small outdoor playground is on Level 4, beside the Rooftop Plaza and the public library, reached by the escalator from the food court. It is sized for ages 1 to 6: a tower with rope nets and a slide, low monkey bars, a toddler play house and a swing-and-net structure for the under-fours.
Our last dated description of it is from 2017, and the mall's own site and directory do not mention it in 2026, so we could not confirm it is still there. Check at the Level 4 library entrance before you promise it to a child.
Why kids will love it: A net to scramble up and a slide down to a parent, then the library's children's wing next door when the heat wins. Best for ages 2 to 6. Go in the morning; the roof has no shade to speak of after 11am.

The small things inside Junction 10 that matter to a parent are not play. The NUH Children's Urgent Care Clinic at #01-22 is a walk-in clinic for children and teenagers up to 18, open 9am to 11pm daily including public holidays, with registration closing at 9pm and X-rays available from 1.30pm on weekdays and 12.30pm at weekends.
The standard fee is $107 for citizens and $120 for everyone else, covering consultation, X-ray and basic tests, with medicines billed separately. It does not do vaccinations or well-baby checks.
Dental Focus at #01-04/05/06 is the mall's dentist, Pet Lovers Centre at #01-01 is the free zoo for a bored four-year-old, and Mr. D.I.Y. at #02-02 sells the stickers and craft glue the art schools send you out for. Sheng Siong at #01-07 opens 7am to 11pm, which makes it the breakfast stop before a 9.30am Saturday class.
Fourteen tenants are in the directory's Education & Enrichment category, plus a childcare centre on Level 4 above. Four are on Jungle and come first. Six more are bookable kids' classes; the last four are tuition centres with no public timetable. Two offer a free trial, two a free assessment.

Photo: Global Art, Jungle listing
Global Art at #02-20 is the franchise art school's Bukit Panjang centre, run by principal Anthony Gan. The programme is banded by age: Junior (3 to 4), Foundation (4 to 7), Pre-Basic (7 to 9), Basic and Intermediate (7 to 12) and Advanced from 13, with cartoon and comic, acrylic, 3D clay and G-Clay as add-ons.
A trial is bookable for the core programmes only; the specialised courses and holiday workshops do not offer one. The centre is closed on Wednesdays.
Why kids will love it: A worksheet-led drawing system that gets a four-year-old to a finished picture in one session, and a clay lesson to look forward to. Best for ages 4 to 9 who like structure. Weekend mornings fill first.

Photo: HiArt, Jungle listing
HiArt's Bukit Panjang studio is at #01-15 on the ground floor, not the Level 2 unit that older listings give. The school, founded in 2010, runs five bands: Just Beginning (2.5 to 4), Little Artist (4 to 5), Discovering Art (5 to 7), Explore Art (7 to 9) and Mastering Art (9 to 12), plus sketching, watercolour, acrylic and oil for teenagers and adults.
Each child is allowed one paid trial lesson, and the trial fee is not refundable. It is closed on Mondays and public holidays.
Why kids will love it: Real paint on real paper from age 2.5, with a teacher who lets the toddler class get messy. Best for ages 3 to 7. The Saturday 9am slot is the quiet one.

Photo: The Ballet School Singapore, Jungle listing
The Ballet School at #02-21 is the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus school in the building, one of eight branches, with a ninth opening at Clarke Quay in December 2026. Tots Ballet takes children from 2.5 to 4, Pre-Primary Junior from 4 to 6, and the RAD Graded programme from 6, with exams from Pre-Primary Senior upwards.
There are vocational and elite streams by audition for the serious ones, a yearly theatre performance and overseas immersion trips. The studio opens at noon on weekdays and 9am at weekends.
Why kids will love it: Pink shoes, a proper barre and a certificate with a crown on it. Best for ages 3 to 8 who respond to a syllabus. Ask about the trial when you call; the fee is refunded if you register for the term.

Photo: PlayFACTO School, Jungle listing
PlayFACTO School at #02-18 is student care, not a class: a licensed after-school centre for primary pupils that collects from 16 primary schools in the west, feeds them an MSG-free lunch from its central kitchen, supervises homework and spelling, and runs its own STEAM enrichment series in the afternoon. It uses a Reggio-inspired room and a positive-education curriculum, and offers half-day and full-day places. In the school holidays, on marking days and on e-learning days it runs 7am to 7pm.
Why kids will love it: Homework done by 5pm, then a robotics or science block with friends from school rather than a tutor's table. Best for Primary 1 to 4. Book a tour on a weekday afternoon to see it full.

Kodecoon Academy at #02-09 is the coding school's Bukit Panjang campus, one of seven in Singapore with an eighth opening at City Square Mall in October 2026. Weekly classes start at age 4 with block-based Scratch and move through app development to JavaScript and Python.
There is a Robotics Coder course on LEGO Spike Prime, holiday camps in Roblox and Minecraft game design from age 6, and a Direct School Admission preparation class for Primary 5 and 6. Every new student sits a logical reasoning test first and is placed by level.
Why kids will love it: A game they built running on a screen by the end of the first camp. Best for ages 6 to 12 who already play Roblox. It is not yet on Jungle.

Ages: 4 to 16.
Ossia Music School at #02-17 is the only music school in the mall and the only centre in it that advertises a free trial lesson. Lessons are one-to-one: piano from 4, violin and ukulele from 5, guitar and drums from 6, and a music introduction class for 3 and 4 year olds.
Students can sit ABRSM grades or Trinity Rock and Pop, which matters if your child wants drums rather than Chopin. Ossia has four branches; this one shares a floor with the ballet and art schools.
Why kids will love it: A drum kit, a free first go on it, and a Rock and Pop grade instead of scales. Best for ages 5 to 12. Book the trial before the school holidays, when the timetable fills.

Taegeuk Taekwondo at #01-11/12 is the only sport in the building, a Korean-run club that competed at the 2025 National Poomsae Championships and posts its training on Instagram rather than a website. We could find no published timetable, fee or trial offer, which is why it sits here without a price. Classes run into the evening; the directory listing has it open until 8.30pm.
Why kids will love it: Kicking a pad as hard as they like and being praised for it, then a belt to show for it. Best for ages 5 to 12 who need to run before they can sit. Call before you come; there is no walk-in counter.

MindChamps at #02-15 is the mall's anchor tenant and its oldest kids' name, a preschool for 18 months to 6 years with an outdoor area of its own, school bus service and a drop-off bay in the sheltered car park.
For families not enrolling full time, the same unit runs MindChamps Reading (Natural Literacy from 2 to 3, Reading and Phonics from 3 to 7, in 12 levels) and MindChamps Writing for K2 to Primary 5. The current offer is 10 per cent off preschool fees for the first 12 months, and a complimentary reading assessment.
Why kids will love it: A phonics app with sing-along ebooks and a teacher who has done 200 hours of training to use it. Best for ages 3 to 6. The reading programme is the way in if the preschool is full.

The Writer's Place at #01-13/14 teaches English composition to Primary 1 to 6, from Foundation Writers at P1 to PSLE Mastery Writers at P6, in small classes, and has done since 2009. It is the centre to try if the school report says "ideas good, expression weak". The first step is a free writing assessment. It closes on Sundays and Mondays.
Why kids will love it: Their story read aloud and taken seriously, and a vocabulary list that is not a spelling test. Best for Primary 2 to 5.

Zenith at #01-10 is a tuition chain's Bukit Panjang branch, with primary English, maths and science at the bottom of a ladder that runs through secondary to junior college economics and general paper, which is why it is open late. It is 150 metres from Bukit Panjang MRT and five minutes from Phoenix LRT, and it is the one tuition centre in the mall that advertises a free trial class.
Why kids will love it: Not the point. Parents will like the free trial and the weekend 10am slot. Best for Primary 4 upwards.

Four more tenants sit in the Education & Enrichment category without a public timetable we could verify: Oodles Learning at #02-12 (its website was down on the day of writing), Hanlin Language School at #02-05, You Cheng Education Centre at #02-19 and All In One Academy at #01-09. New Life Childcare at #04-02, on the fourth floor of The Tennery and reached by Lift Lobby 1, is a SPARK-certified preschool, the first childcare centre in a Singapore mixed-use development.
One correction to the directories. Kumon, which parenting sites and Jungle still list at #02-08, has moved to Block 643 Senja Close. Its page on Kumon's own site now carries the Senja address, and the mall's October 2026 directory has no Kumon in it.
Two of the eleven offer a free trial and two a free assessment. For the island-wide list, read our guide to free trial classes for kids in Singapore. Browse Junction 10 classes on Jungle.
Junction 10 has no food court. All 13 food outlets in the October 2026 directory are on Level 1, mostly along the Woodlands Road side. Exactly one has a published children's price, Captain Kim, and one more sells a kids' meal. The rest is prata, mookata, mao cai and hotpot.
Captain Kim at #01-24 is a MUIS halal-certified Korean barbecue and hotpot buffet, one of three outlets with Tampines and Clementi, and the one restaurant in the mall with a children's price. A child under 100cm eats free. From 100cm to 140cm the child rate is $9.90++ at weekday lunch and $15.90++ at every other session.
Adults pay $18.90++ for a 90-minute weekday lunch, $28.90++ at weekend lunch and Monday to Thursday dinner, and $29.90++ for dinner from Friday to Sunday. Four paying diners get a fifth free. Prices are from September 2026 and carry service charge and GST on top.
Why kids will love it: Grilling their own marinated chicken on the table hob, and a hotpot broth for the one who will not touch anything charred. Best for ages 4 and up who can sit near a grill. Weekday lunch is half the price of dinner.

Texas Chicken at #01-31 is the mall's fast food and the only place with a kids' meal: a smaller chicken portion with a side and a drink. Texas Chicken's own site shows no prices; 2026 menu aggregators list the Kids Chicken Combo at $6.50. It has the high chairs and the quickest turnaround on the floor, which is what you need between a 5pm ballet class and a 6pm taekwondo one.
Why kids will love it: Honey butter biscuits. Best for any age. Go at 5pm, before the Level 2 classes let out together at 6pm.

The two malls across the transport hub have what Junction 10 lacks, and the free play is ten minutes on foot.
